Cartoon House Restoration

After working on it a few hours, I got the projector to play the film correctly ... Unfortunately, two of the movies were broken due to age so there are three more that work good, but still need to be cleaned.

As you can see, these to wires go to the coin mechanism and once those are soldered back to where they need to go, then technically speaking, it will be completely repaired. 

Here in this image you can see the wooden coin box and on the far left where you can see the relay. That is what powers the coin mechanism. When you put a coin in, it would power on the projector for a few minutes and then power down. 
 

Cosmetically there is still some work. This image is after probably 25 minutes of intense scrubbing.

Kiddierama Cartoon Theater

Well, look what showed up at our museum today. A nice, Kiddierama Cartoon Theater.

the manufacture date in the maching is 4/18/1979. it works great and I can't wait to see the look on children's faces when they see the cartoon light up on the projector.
